At Prime Pharmaceuticals Pharmacy, we do not process compounded medications through insurance. However, we are committed to supporting our patients in every way possible. To assist you, we provide all the necessary documentation and information required for you to file a claim with your insurance company.
* Can I transfer my prescriptions to Prime Pharmaceuticals Pharmacy?
We welcome prescription transfers. After transferring a prescription, we will contact you directly to discuss the necessary logistics.
* What medication are eligible for compounding?
Medications in distinctive forms not commercially available. Formulations free from allergens and unnecessary additives like gluten, dyes, sugar, lactose, or alcohol, which may provoke adverse reactions. Combining compatible medications in a single dosage form for enhanced convenience and adherence. Medications that are unavailable commercially, discontinued, or facing supply shortages.
* How long does it take to compound a prescription?
Once we receive approval from the patient regarding the logistics, we can begin preparing the compound. If all necessary ingredients are in stock, the pharmacy can typically have the compound ready within 24 hours. However, if we need to order components from our vendor, the preparation time will be longer, contingent on the vendor's shipping and delivery timeline.
* What kind of payments are accepted?
Payments for medications and compounds can be made using cash or card. We kindly request that payment for compounds be settled before we commence preparation of the formulation.
